Flower of five wounds

a vigorous large deciduous or semi-evergreen climber with twining tendrils. Leaves dark green, with 5-7 finger-like lobes. Flowers to 8cm in width, white, with blue and purple coronal filaments. Fruits ovoid, 5 cm, orange.
As experienced in our garden a plant with a vigorous nature with a tendency to overgrow other plants and show up on some unwanted places. Blooming from spring till in autumn where I live at the Belgian coast. The flower is a peculiarly and beautiful thing to me and always a delight to see them come back with the end of winter.
